Below you will find all the information you need if you're thinking about joining up with the Dogs. Including the trial period and links to the minimum gear required.
Membership and Trial Period
All Recruits Must Be 18+
If you are interested in joining, contact one of the patched in members either in person or on our social media pages. Once you've asked to join you'll be invited out with the team for a day of play. We do this to see if you like us, and if you mesh well with our team culture. To proceed, a patched member must sponsor you for membership.
Once a patched member sponsors you, A 3 game "recruit" period begins. During this time you as a recruit will need to get the required equipment for team members (listed below). Be active on our forums/ group chat, and attend at least 3 events with us as your schedule allows. These can be larger Mil-Sim games, or a weekend out at a local field hosting an open play.
Once you attend at least 3 events, all patched in members will hold a private vote to determine a recruit's membership. If voted in, you will become a patched member of Dogs of War Milsim. Members will receive a PVC team patch, and members of our New England team will receive a Green Mountain Boys PVC patch.
Required Equipment List
During the 90 day recruitment process, the new recruit will be required to obtain certain equipment. These requirements are to keep us looking uniformed on the field, allow us to communicate with each other, and to show commitment to being part of the team. Don't worry, there is a list of recommended gear below from Amazon to help you sort out what you need. If you need help or have questions, ask any patched member and we are happy to help. The requirements are:
Here is a list of the minimum gear needed.
- Your own airsoft replica with sufficient extra mags. Can be AEG, HPA, GBB, whatever you're comfortable with. Type and style is up to the player.
-Your own plate carrier/ chest rig/ something to hold magazines and your radio. Gear color doesn't matter as long as you have your own.
*The above links are the suggested styles required, feel free to shop within your budget but keep the uniform inline with the styles provided*
*Buy with quality and durability in mind, we often run, crawl, and slide on all types of surfaces, Kneepads are also a good investment (can usually be found in the suggestions section with the combat pants)*
